Objective
Build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for a web-based Well Manager tailored to the Oil & Gas industry. The goal was to create a tool that enables real-time monitoring and operational management of oil wells, improving decision-making and efficiency in the field.
Segment
Energy sector – Oil & Gas.
Specifically targeted at operational teams managing field activities and well performance for drilling, maintenance, and production.

My Role
Full Stack Developer & Product Designer
I was responsible for the complete design and development of the MVP. I led the UX/UI design and implemented both the front end and back end. I also collaborated with field experts to shape the product logic and ensure it met industry needs.

About the Project
This MVP was a web application designed to provide a clear overview of all active wells, their status, and operational data. Users could:
View real-time well performance
Filter and analyze data
Generate custom reports
Track maintenance and incident logs
The platform was designed to be modular, allowing easy scaling and adaptation for different oilfield operators.
Challenges
- Translating complexity: Turning intricate oilfield workflows into intuitive UI components.
- Dual responsibilities: Balancing design and development tasks in a fast-paced MVP timeline.
- Domain knowledge: Quickly learning industry terminology and operational practices to align product logic with real-world use.
- Data modeling: Structuring a flexible and scalable database that could represent diverse well statuses and workflows.
